Press release: Free Easter Egg Hunt Returns to Paddington's Merchant Square

London, February 2025 | This Easter, families are invited to Merchant Square, Paddington's canalside destination, on Friday, 11 April 2025, for a free Easter Egg Hunt and charitable celebration.

From 11am to 4pm across the 11-acre estate, the annual event, which attracted over 380 visitors last year, promises a day of Easter-themed activities for children of all ages, aimed at 4-12 year olds. This year's adventure features "Hunt for the Hidden Eggs: A Whisker-Twitching Easter Adventure!" – a special character-led story experience that will delight young explorers.

Families will join the Marvelous Mouse Twins, Max and Milo, whose nest was blown away by a mischievous winter wind, along with the directions to their hidden Easter feast. Children will become part of the "Mouse Gang" as they help wake up sleepy Milo, retrace the twins' steps, and uncover their lost treasure through dress-up, storytelling, songs, and games – culminating in a chocolatey Easter surprise!

The main attraction is an Easter Bunny Hunt, where families can collect maps and search for special Easter yard signs throughout the Square, with chocolate prizes for successful hunters.

"We're delighted to bring our popular Easter celebration back to Merchant Square," says Echo Pan, Marketing and Events Coordinator. "It's a wonderful opportunity for families to enjoy a magical Easter adventure while experiencing our pedestrianised, canalside setting. With Easter-themed characters, engaging activities, and prizes to be won, there's something for the whole family to enjoy."

Children's charity COSMIC (Children of St Mary's Intensive Care) will host additional Easter-themed activities throughout the day. While the event is free to attend, visitors are encouraged to make optional donations to support COSMIC's vital work supporting critically ill children and their families at St Mary's & Queen Charlotte's Hospital.

Social media enthusiasts can participate in Merchant Square's Instagram competition by sharing their best photos from the day using #MSQEaster2025 and tagging @merchantsquareldn for a chance to win family prizes.
